Review #5: APR 14 The Libertador is a big beast. Have no doubt. It’s the same size as the legendary Cohiba Sublimes Limited Edition of 2004 and the Montecristo Sublimes 2008. The ring gauge is a thick 54 with a length of 6.4 inches. The Bolivar was introduced by Habanos in 2013 as an LCDH release following an earlier outing in 2006/7 as a French RE. The first release met with cautious approval as it was deemed a little young but the vitola has now clearly got into it’s stride and is becoming a serious challenger to it’s senior cousins the MC and the Cohiba. First appearances are good with a wonderful colorado maduro wrapper with a lovely oily appearance. - Submitted by TheBespokeDandy on September 3, 2015

Review #4: I started smoking Bolivar 6 months ago and this one of the 1st I tried. The quality is good and the taste is also great. Value for money - Submitted by chinauntan on January 2, 2015

Review #3: DEC 13 I got 2013 LCDH Edition, which taste pretty good. Full of flavor and so smooth from top to the end. Good structure Cigar. The price is not high, a good 1.5~2 hours cigar. - Submitted by snd on December 30, 2014

Review #2: Bolivar Libertadores- it is important to note that Bolivar Libertadores refers to two cigar releases of the identical Sublimes vitola with the same name. First one pictured here is the French Regional Edition from 2006-7 and the “new” Bolivar Libertadores is the 2013 LCDH edition. Both of them are also not to be confused with the Bolivar Petit Libertadores (a robusto, also a French RE-2008). I have had the chance to try all three last weeks, during a trip to France. Naturally the 2006 edition has grater maturity and complexity; however the new release has more to offer in the long term: “French” Bolivar Libertadores-OCT 2007- Very good draw but uneven burn. Mild start with earthiness and citrus aroma. The cigars intensify in flavor after the middle adding notes of coffee and cacao for a nice rich mature and balanced complexity. Although earthy, the cigar is not a typical bold Bolivar. All together very nice cigars. 90/100. 2013 LCDH Bolivar Libertadores- these have very good construction…they impress from the start with a balance of good cedar wood, earthiness and some sweet spice. Medium-body start that consists until final third. Might not sound impressive, however I am sure that this cigar has all the potential and characteristics for great maturity when aged a few years. When a cigar is young and as satisfying with consistency then you know it will age well. 90/100 now, more down the road… - Submitted by dimi681 on August 22, 2014
