Review #18: In response to nnjlon2 and his supposed fakes I have had the same experience of 'flat' Immensas. These came from a very reputable shop in Germany and had an 06' box code. Maybe this year was just a bit off or we both got samples from poor boxes. I don't know where you ordered from but it is not an isolated incident. - Submitted by guyderue on March 7, 2008

Review #17: Have had a few from POS ENE 06 and they have been outstanding with all the characterist Bolivar earthiness and strength but with more depth and complexity. Excellent burn and draw, lots of rich smoke, not sure how else to put it but a solid 9. - Submitted by randallp on March 6, 2008

- Submitted by eeq71 on February 14, 2008

Review #15: I purchased a box of these from a friend of a friend and now I know they must be fake. The construction is perfect, the caps are there, but the taste is flat. I think these were good fakes for a rookie but I know after the 1/3 mark something was wrong. It tastes like the blend is wrong not enough fillers. I took one apart and the wrapper, binder and filler are all long and have the V cut, but I think the blend is off. I am sad to say this does not match the taste of my Real cubans I have to reference (Bolivar Royal Coronas, Hoyo Epicures, RYJ Short Churchs) It's an Ok cigar, but I don't feel it is real so I am going to order a few singles from a REAL dealer and compare. Updates to follow - Submitted by nnjlon2 on February 9, 2008

Review #14: I am sorry to hear of reviwer #12's bad experience with the Imensas. I have been smoking this cigar for years. I prefer the Prominente sized smokes, but Bolivar has been able to keep the old school Havana taste in such a small package which just plain tastes great and has never failed me. This is one of those sleeper cigars that not many people try as it is rather gentle appearing, but if you have not enjoyed a good Bolivar Imensas, you have missed a truly wonderful smoking experience. They never need correction from the lighter, burn straight down as any cigar smoker desires and it is priced so that any true Puros lover can get a great smoke at a gentle price. I love these cigars and always try to have at least three boxes on hand, one to age, one to give as singles to friends and a third to smoke. They need only a minimum of aging to taste good and that appears as an earthy, slightly sweet taste. What I like best is the smell of my hand after enjoying one of these, hints of leather and old style Cuban cigar. How can you beat that? Enjoy everybody and a happy new year to everyone I have met and made friends with from this site. - Submitted by Rich Golodner on January 28, 2008
