Bolivar Gold Medal Review:
Extremely earthy and strong tobacco taste that outshine the other characteristic flavours of Bolivar cigars. Strength 5/5.

Review #19: Nice looking cigar. First 45min was very boring. The second 45min was more complex, spicyness, espresso, earthy flavor. Typical Bolivar at the end. The cigar is not balance at all so make sure you age these sticks a year or two before lighting up. IMO they are overly priced. I would not buy Gold Medals again. - Submitted by TonyMontana on April 6, 2008
Review #18: Bought an URO JUN 07 box, based on the site top rated list. The first few were good but not impressive:too young. After four months in my humidor, I lit one tonight. Oh my! great flavors, perfect burn. Deserved every cent I paid for. Too bad, only three left in my humidor - Submitted by Amadou on March 10, 2008
Review #17: I have 4 boxes and couldn't wait any longer to try this cigar so I went for the box with the lightest wrappers (PBS JUN 07) which also happened to have the lightest weight cigars 9.5gr.....yes I'm a sick man and sometimes put my cigars on a scale. This is a nice cigar but NO powerhouse smoke and not worth the money asked. Another box (TEB JUL 07) had cigars with the right feel and weight 11.5gr so there's hope. Very disappointed in this first box and for the price will not order more. - Submitted by Richard Rose on March 10, 2008
Review #16: I tried one with only a few months of age on it. Was very creamy as soon as it was lit but lost it's flavor halfway. This cigar needs to be properly aged IMHO for at least 2 years in order to really enjoy it. Construction and burn was perfect though. I will try this one again but only 2 year minimum. - Submitted by cigar are good on January 18, 2008
Review #15: My impression of most of these reviewers is they have never really had
great Cubans pre-95 and drink 'light beer'. This cigar does not have the tropical nose nor strength of a Bolivar so Gold Label is mere marketing. It does have floral characteristics---but Habanos in its 'infinite wisdom' abandoned the corojo plant, it is unlikely the distinct Bolivar flavour, my favourite,
will return absent a revolution. - Submitted by michael murphy on December 11, 2007
