Bolivar Coronas Extras Review:

This cigar is named that way because is 13mm longer than Coronas. Many smokers catalogue Bolivar Coronas Extra as the strongest among Bolivar brand. Very dark oily wrappers. Flavours of espresso, cocoa, and vanilla abound. Truly Bolivar.

Review #20: I've had construction issues with this cigar and have never really enjoyed the flavors. I have never experienced these as being "the strongest" Bolivars. I personally think that the Coronas and PC's are better options. - Submitted by fabio on October 28, 2007

Review #19: Just an edit for my review, #18. The second sentence is supposed to say "slow burn, satisfyingly strong smoke, especially when taking long draws and exhaling through the nose, but very smooth and creamy, almost mellow, when puffed slowly" Thanks! - Submitted by Jimbo on June 9, 2007

Review #18: Smoked one the other day, JUN 06. Slow burn, satisfyingly strong smoke, especially but very smooth and creamy, almost mellow when puffed slowly. Dark almost maduro wrapper which was very oily. It wasn't overly complex, but the smoke was rich with dark Bolivar earth and with a little espresso and cream and nuts. Nice twang, and so smooth for only a year old! Well done! - Submitted by Jimbo on June 6, 2007

Review #17: As reviewer #15 states: "Aging works!" Yes, it does. I'm sure the one I smoked the other night would have been decent back in 2000 when it was rolled--but it was absolutely decadent now seven year's later!! This cabinet version was true Bolivar--BAM! Smooth power. Flavors of earth, wood, all with spice thrown-in. One of the more memorable cigars I've had in a while. - Submitted by Shooter on May 2, 2007
