Review #10: The Bolivar, Bolivar Tubos No. 3 had a dark and rustic looking wrapper. The wrapper displayed a small amount of tooth as well as the beginning of some plume developing on it. The draw was excellent. Upon lighting the cigar, I was greeted with rich bold earth and typical sweet Bolivar spice. During the first 3rd, the flavors changed between earth, leather, roasted coffee and semi-sweet cocoa. All the time, the flavors were rich and smooth; the smoke volume was quite large coming from such a small cigar. The smoke was dense and thick, letting you know that while this cigar may be small, it really was a “Tiny Demon” of flavorful delicious smoke. The “nose” of this cigar was very nice and a pleasure to enjoy. During the 2nd third, the earthiness decreased and the notes of saddle leather rose. The bold earthiness returned during the 3rd third as did the intensity of the body. I felt my lips tingling from the rich spiciness of the cigar. Throughout the hour, I found myself wondering why this little treasure had alluded me before and I have begun making plans to pick up some of these as soon as possible. The Bolivar, Bolivar Tubos No. 3 could be described as a medium full bodied cigar which is rich with spice, earth, leather, roasted coffee and sweet cocoa. The cigar started out smooth and built strength with mouthful after mouthful of rich dense smoke. I would rate this cigar a 4 smoke ring cigar as it is very good cigar and I could recommend it to everyone that enjoys the Bolivar marca. - Submitted by Tampa1257 on September 20, 2006

Review #9: My favourite of all small cigars. Consistent, flavoursome, smoky. Save your first try of one of these for a special ocassion and you'll never forget it. Bolivars truly are something special. - Submitted by lordbritish on June 30, 2006

Review #8: As I have stated in my other reviews, in the small cigar range i am a fan of the Tubos no 2 and the San Cristobal El Principe. I ordered a couple of those tubos, for my wife, believing that the size and the format would fit her light tastes in cigars. Today I smoked 2 of those \"monsters\" at a cafe under the Acropolis in Athens, talinkg about the ancient greek philosophers and antiquity in general. This little cigar attributed much to the whole relaxing atmosphere and yet, intrigued my mind with its amazing complexity. Like a woman you meet for the first time and she slowly reveals herself.... Started off smooth, with wet earth notes, and then became complex with tastes of dark chocolate, cherries, peppers and some leather. All those complex tastes were accompanied by the classic STRONG Bolivar aftertaste. An excellent, strong cigar! Well done! - Submitted by Dimitris in Athens - Greece on May 28, 2005

Review #7: Wow! very rich in flavor for a small cigar. Although I once had one that wasn\'t as good as the previous. But overall, I prefer it better than the No 2... maybe it\'s a size issue... - Submitted by baho on April 28, 2005

Review #6: A Great little cigar if you can get one that burns just right. My last one was a real slow burner, lasted 1 and 1/2 hours yet with perfect draw. Medium bodied but full flavoured, lots of earth, cocoa and a subtle sweetness, that made me remember how much I love Bolivar - Submitted by Stuart in Oz on December 7, 2004
