This cigar was a disappointment. It was boring and lacked the character of the Bolivars enjoyed in the past. Being in Cuba with a pile of cigars prompted me to toss it in favor of something more interesting. - Submitted by Stacks Overflow on October 29, 2004

Firstly, excellent build, it burned perfectly even. The flavour was a little weak to start, but after it heated up it was a lovely smoke, quite spicy. Recommended. - Submitted by Hamish Gow on August 30, 2004

Strong cuban flavors from half down, slightly unidimensional, nothing to do with the Royal Corona. Good Construction, but not as aromatic as other less expensive coronas. Maybe last review applies to the dress box variety. Very expensive for what you get. - Submitted by Estrella on March 11, 2004
