Bolivar 108 RE España Review:

This cigar in question is characterized more by a very clean Cuban flavor, fresh and woody. It was created in 1902 in honor of Simon Bolivar, and specifically the 108 Anniversary of the brand name of this vitola.

Review #5: MAY 10 Finally opened up 1 of the 2 boxes I have. Box code POL May 10. The wrappers on the cigars are between Colorado Claro and Colorado. When I bring the box close to my nose, I immediately noticed a floral scent, unlike the typical Bolivar I have experienced before. After cutting up the cigar, I took couple of cold draws and it tasted caramel with a slight bit of saltiness. I knew I was in for a treat. After lighting it up, the fume gives out a pleasant roasted coffee smell, it was a pleasant surprise, as Bolivars are almost always strong and powerful to me. I have to amid I'm a fan of full flavor cigars, but this 108 is relatively closer to the medium flavor profile. In any case, as I progressed to enjoy this beauty, it kept on giving me back this wonderful, perfume like scent, which echos the floral smell I encountered when I opened the box. I understand it is very hard to locate a box of 108, as it was readily available when it was released. However, if you happen to find some, be sure to get them. I strongly believe that that my remaining 19 sticks will be just as good. Just an overall great cigar that will give you so much pleasure. - Submitted by x-man on April 10, 2017

Review #4: Didn't taste Bolivar at all, but not bad. Smooth, sweet and creamy. Medium body and silky smoke, t have developed well since the release. This is one of the better regional I have tried, but don't expect to get any amazing and typical Bolivar flavour from this one. - Submitted by carrera_wbg on March 18, 2016
